Jajang is a sauce made with Chunjang(Black bean paste), onions, and pork. It is often garnished with sliced cucumbers or green chickpeas. This amazing sauce goes well with both rice and noodles, and you will be very satisfied whatever you choose to eat together. This sweet and savory sauce is one of the children's favorite menus in Korea.

LEARN THE HERITAGE

Jajang is usually eaten with noodles and is called Jajangmyeon. Jajangmyeon is a dish that has been modified to suit the taste of Koreans, which is a home-cooked meal in China's Shandong region. It began in the 1890s when dock workers who arrived from Shandong, China, mixed noodles with chunjang for a quick meal.
